GenZAgents for procurement — get AI vendor leverage with attributed spend data

AI vendors renew annually. You negotiate blind without spend attribution. GenZAgents receipts give you per-team / per-project / per-deliverable / per-provider spend — typical procurement teams report 15-25% better discounts after the data becomes available.

The blind-negotiation problem

Anthropic / OpenAI / Google all renew annually. You walk in with "we spent £X" (the only number on the invoice) and they walk out with a 5-10% discount. With GenZAgents: you walk in with "we spent £X, breakdown is Y/Z, here's where we're willing to consolidate, here's the cheaper alternative we'd move to if you don't come down on price". The conversation is materially different.

What the rollup looks like

Per-provider: "62% Anthropic, 28% OpenAI, 10% Google". Per-team: "Eng 40%, Product 25%, Customer Success 20%, Sales 15%". Per-deliverable: "Top 10 projects by spend account for 60% of total". Per-model variant: "claude-3-5-sonnet drives 45% of spend; claude-haiku 12%; gpt-5 28%; gpt-4o 15%". Each rollup answers a different vendor-negotiation question.

AI bill of materials for vendor selection

Increasingly common procurement question: "what AI was used to build this product?". GenZAgents tags every commit with the AI assistance involved. For a software product going through procurement at a customer, the AIBOM is "v2.4 of our product had AI contributions from claude-3-5-sonnet (61%), gpt-4o (24%), gemini-2.0-flash (12%), human-only (3%) by line count". This data feeds both your vendor selection (in) and your customer's vendor selection of you (out).

Multi-year commit modelling

When Anthropic offers a 3-year commit at 25% discount, you need to model the risk. With GenZAgents data: project AI spend trajectory based on team-level growth + per-team adoption curves. The commit is rational if projected spend > 70% of commit minimum. Without the data: the commit is a coin flip.

Vendor-risk evidence

Procurement teams increasingly own vendor-risk reviews. GenZAgents receipt feed evidences which providers your engineers actually use, with what data, under what controls. This becomes the input to your vendor-risk register — clean DPA mapping, clean data-flow diagram, clean residency story. Saves your security team weeks of evidence gathering.

Procurement's 5-minute gut check

Total annual AI spend. If >£50k/year, GenZAgents Enterprise (£6k) is overhead well-spent — 15-25% discount on a £50k spend is £7.5-12.5k recovered. If 6-figure annual AI spend, the math is overwhelming. Below £30k/year, you don't have enough negotiating leverage yet for the data to matter.

Common questions

Will Anthropic / OpenAI accept the receipt data as accurate?

Their invoice is the source of truth. GenZAgents data corroborates the breakdown — we don't replace it. Vendors don't question the breakdown because the totals match their invoice (within 1% margin).

How long does it take to get useful negotiation data?

Receipts flow from day 1; the per-provider breakdown is meaningful within 30 days. For multi-year trajectory modelling, you want 6+ months of data — start now if your renewal is in 12+ months.

Can I see vendor spend trends from competitors?

No — we don't share customer data across orgs. Your own receipts are your data. Aggregate industry benchmarks may be available on the Enterprise tier in v0.8.

Does this help with smaller AI vendors (Cohere, Mistral)?

Yes — same receipt format works for any LLM provider. As long as your tool integrates with our MCP server or SDK, the spend lands in the rollup.
