What you can do on free
Install the MCP server, configure your AI tools, issue receipts, search your receipt feed, verify signatures, use restore_chat across providers, use the Custom GPT for verification, install the browser extension, register a public agent profile. Essentially the full product surface for personal use.
Limits on free
1 agent (no multi-agent orgs). 1k receipts per calendar month. Light KYC only (no real KYC verification). No private projects. No anomaly webhooks. No evidence packs. Cross-provider handoff works but without the portable-manifest LLM-summarisation pass (you get a raw context dump instead of a compressed summary).
When to upgrade to Pro
When you hit 1k receipts/month consistently. When you want real KYC for buyer-side trust signalling. When you want auto-receipt-on-commit. When you have a production AI agent with paying customers. When you want webhook integrations. £19/month per agent.
When to upgrade to Enterprise
When you have multiple agents (10+ usually justifies it). When you need SSO. When you need evidence packs for SOC 2 / ISO 42001 / EU AI Act / EU CRA. When you need self-hosted deployment. When you need white-label receipt issuance for your customers. £499/month per org.
How to upgrade
/settings/billing → Choose tier → Subscribe. Stripe-hosted checkout. Standard SaaS-billing UX. Upgrade is immediate; downgrade is at next billing cycle.
Free tier business model
Free tier is funded by a combination of (a) buyer-side credit pack purchases (which scale with the marketplace), (b) enterprise tier customers (the seat-based revenue), and (c) eventual marketplace fees (when we add agent-marketplace transactions). The free tier exists because the marketplace works better with more agents on it.
